Since 2020, Portugal has received 417 JENAs – young refugees who arrived in Europe without the company of parents or legal guardians. More young people continue to arrive every week.

We want to promote their well-being and give them tools to build a future.

Support our work by participating and sharing our crowdfunding campaign!

These young people need support to escape social isolation and develop their skills. We contribute in 2 determining fields:

Formal education
Teacher training
Consultancy for the inclusion of migrant students
School support

Portuguese Language
Program of Portuguese A0
Informal and formal learning
Development of materials

Since 2020, our team members have been working to find solutions for these young people at risk. We have been identifying and accompanying young migrants through teaching the Portuguese language, organizing activities, managing a volunteer network and training professionals involved in the lives of young people.

Every month, new young migrants, accompanied or not, arrive in Portugal. The challenges they face are immense, but so is their willingness to build a better life as well.

We are looking for partners who help us to provide them with well-being in the present and prospects in the future.
